We spent 4 nights here and the breakfasts were tasty. Our room was super cozy with easy access for unloading the car. I enjoyed hanging out on the sun terrace sipping my drink and soaking up the sun, which was a nice bonus! The room could've used some extra storage but it didn't take away from our overall lovely stay, so I'd definitely recommend giving this place a shot! 🌞

Can't recommend highly enough for an overnight stopping
Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a spacious area for relaxation, and the breakfast was nicely cooked with good quality food. The free parking made it easy to explore the local area.
All was perfect.

Our stay here was a real treat with the delicious cooked breakfast and a cozy room that felt like home. I loved unwinding in the sun terrace while enjoying the beautiful views, and the cocktails were just a bonus. A small hiccup was that our room wasn't cleaned during our two nights, but honestly, the experience was still worth it! 😊

the room was super comfy with a nice ensuite, and having tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. dinner was very good, the food was excellent and there were loads of choices. breakfast was brill, and i had a great chat with the staff about how important a memorable breakfast is. overall, everything was just exceptional and i really enjoyed my stay.
the only thing was that maybe a few more toiletries would’ve been nice, and the shower could use a better drainage system since water kinda pooled up.

The stay was decent for a quick night away before heading to the ferry terminal. The location in the village was charming and the breakfast was well-prepared. the mattress could definitely use an upgrade and the lack of room service left us wanting more comforts, like fresh tea and coffee supplies.

It was a great fit for a brief hiatus in Ivybridge with good value. The hot breakfast was a standout, really hit the spot. Be ready for a short drive to Ivybridge, it's a bit out of the way.

A Refreshing Stay Away from the Crowds
We enjoyed a lovely couple of nights in a beautifully decorated standard double room. The shower was spacious, providing a great start to our day. A tip , consider dining at the nearby pub for a friendlier atmosphere and better menu options.

Stylish decor in the room. Limited storage space made it tricky to unpack. Great location for cycling. Breakfast had tasty options but took a while. Friendly staff provided helpful local tips.

The highlights included a spacious room featuring a beautifully crafted pebble wall in the bathroom and a wonderful breakfast that exceeded expectations. a disappointing dining experience overshadowed the stay, particularly with undercooked fish and cold fries, compounded by an unempathetic response from the proprietor when concerns were raised. The ambiance was lively, yet the lack of proper food handling and customer service left a negative impression.

The Anchor provided a warm atmosphere with beautifully designed room décor and modern amenities. The staff were friendly and efficient, assisting promptly with my business needs. The location was tranquil, allowing for a restful stay while still being conveniently located. The breakfast was satisfactory, featuring locally sourced ingredients, particularly the bacon and eggs, making for a hearty start to the day.
Limited storage in the room was inconvenient.
